Dubia Roaches are fantastic all-round feeders and get 3x the size of Woodies!

Better yet, Dubia Roaches are far slower than other feeders, and can't climb smooth surfaces, making them a lot easier to handle! Their lower chitin percentage (softer exoskeleton) will also improve your reptiles digestion.

Sick of noisey and smelly crickets? No need to worry with Dubia. They don't make any noise and smell far less than other insects.

Shipping Information

We ship Dubia on Monday's (or Tuesday's if Monday is a public holiday) via express shipping, to ensure they arrive to you as fast as possible.

We always ship 10% more then you order! This accounts for any minor DOA's and counting discrepancies (as all counts are done by weight).

As this is Australia, heat waves and other severe weather events are always possible. If there is a major weather event, we may suspend shipping temporarily but will always notify you if this is the case.

All Dubia orders are packed Monday morning and shipped out immediately.

Any orders placed after 9:00am Monday morning will be shipped the following week.

Sizing Information

Using screens to grade insects by size is the most common method across the industry, and the one we use here at Reptifauna.

Getting a perfectly consistent size with Dubia is near impossible due to their ability to expand and contract their body based on their food consumption, so instead we have to use a size 'range'. Sort of like we have weight ranges for frozen feeders.

We always aim to get the most consistent sizing possible! Though there will always be variation, particularly in the small and medium sizes. Please take note of the variance in the photos.

10% Extra Sent With Every Order

Every order of Dubia Roaches packed at Reptifauna includes 10% extra. This is because our counts are done by weight and we always want to make sure we over deliver rather then under.

This also accounts for any minor DOA's. They are insects after all, they can be delicate. Though please never hesitate to contact us if you have any major death counts on arrival and we will make it right!

Absolutely awesome service from Reptifauna. This delivery arrived quicker than the last but still 4 days via express post.The dubia roaches are actually quite cute while they’re small and I have gotten over my insect fear with a beardie to feed.
The roaches are packed well in egg carton-shaped hidey holes and securely sealed in a calico bag. The box (labelled “Live Insects”) is packed with butchers paper and both times the roaches have arrived with very minimal losses.
Thank you Reptifauna for responding to my emails and giving me peace of mind about the travelling aspect of these critters. My beardie loves them and I’m giving up crickets (except in emergencies as these are easier to get locally) as the roaches don’t easily escape, don’t smell and are not hard to look after.
They don’t smell and their “dirts” are tiny so they’re easy to keep their enclosure clean.
