Our Small Snake Starter Bundle is intended to support your hatchling snake through it's first roughly 6 months of life. There's no 'one size fits all' in the world of animals, as each individual's growth rates may vary. This bundle simply serves as a guide to take some of the guess work out of feeding your first snake.

We recommend feeding two food items per feed for the 1-2 feeds before increasing the size. For example, feeding two pinkies in the same sitting, then upgrading to fuzzies the following week. This can help ensure the snake is ready for the larger food item.

These food sizes are best suited for small to medium snake species, such as Spotted, Stimson, & Children's pythons, Green Tree pythons, Woma pythons, & others. If unsure what the best food is for your young snake, ask the breeder what it was eating previously.
